Job Description

Team Summary
The AP Talent team is made of dedicated HR professionals who drive impactful strategies, solutions and processes across talent acquisition, talent management and inclusion & diversity. We are looking for a head of talent, Asia Pacific who is passionate about improving all aspects of our talent ecosystem that’s underpinned by inclusion. As our head of talent, you will oversee the talent acquisition, early career, talent management and inclusion and diversity teams across Asia Pacific.

As the Head of Talent, AP, you will:

  • Develop, deliver and track talent strategies aligned to short and long term business goals
  • Partner with the senior leaders to support workforce planning, build hiring plans, drive organizational design, succession planning, implement diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and identify talent trends, using a data-driven approach
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and external partners to support a wide range of efforts on training, coaching, communications, and talent management processes to foster the ongoing growth of talent within the organization.
     
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Develop and lead a talent acquisition organization that includes workforce planning, recruiting, sourcing, operations and talent enablement
    • Measure and meet critical SLAs and metrics to speed up hiring and improve quality and diversity of hires
    • Develop ongoing insights and reports from recruiting data to create forward-thinking recruiting strategies that progress us towards our goals and improve areas of opportunity identified
    • Coach, develop, and mentor the AP Talent Acquisition team responsible for full life cycle recruiting; provide on-going development, mentoring and learning experiences
    • Serve as a strategic partner and talent expert to hiring managers, the exec team, & recruiters in building pipelines quickly for new and existing roles
    • Apply fresh ideas and innovative solutions to develop, implement, and lead strategic, impactful, and scalable early careers talent acquisition programs and processes in partnership with the business and in alignment with our workforce goals and objectives
    • Create a thoughtful, clear metrics-driven approach that tracks, monitors, and evaluates the impact and effectiveness of all programs and hiring activity
    • Drive overall success of team including managing prioritization, delegation, and overall accountability of team
    • Think creatively and bring an innovation framework to talent acquisition
       
  • Talent Management:
    • Identify and accelerate development of high potential talent and partner with executive recruiting to create ready now pipelines of diverse talent for key leadership roles
    • Build tangible initiatives to drive and execute a retention-focused talent strategy and meaningful career development
    • Execute the annual talent planning and performance management process end to end, and drive continuous improvement and simplification
    • Re-imagine our career mobility/progression practices and approaches to drive transparency and employee engagement, enable development and growth, and support the growth and evolution of the company
    • Partner with our learning organization to design and support the delivery of training programs that would aid in the retention and development of critical talent segments, people leaders and diverse

Qualifications

  • 20+ years of experience in talent management, talent acquisition or HR business partnering
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Human Resources and/or a related field
  • Experience in a Leadership role, such as a VP, Head of Talent Management, etc.
  • Experienced in translating strategy, business needs and goals into talent priorities and detailed action plans
  • Enjoys the big picture as well as the details that go into it
  • Strong business acumen and management skills
  • Have strong consultative skills including a mix of critical thinking and creative problem solving
  • Navigating working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong prioritization skills
  • Must have experience in implementing and/or influencing global talent initiatives
  • Strong team management, leadership and coaching skills; proven track record of attracting, leading, developing and retaining high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated achievement in complex, transformative environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and positively with management and employees to garner support and the understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and needs.
  • Experience embedding diversity, equity and inclusion strategies in all aspects of workplace culture.
