New Payment Flows (NPF) division’s charter is to capture new sources of money movement through card and non-card flows, including Visa Business Solutions, Government Solutions and Visa Direct which presents an enormous growth opportunity. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe.  Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments. B2B Payables & Acceptance is part of Visa Business Solutions vertical of Visa’s Technology organization. We are responsible for designing, developing and implementing Virtual Cards, payables and acceptance commercial platforms to drive incremental revenue. We develop new offerings/products and enhance existing Visa Business Solutions product lines including Commercial data processing, B2B payables & B2B Acceptance platforms. We are looking for Senior lead engineers to join our B2B team as Software Engineers (Sr. Consultant Level) based in Bangalore, India.
 

What You Will Do as Senior Automation Engineer (Sr. Consultant level):

·       This role is for a DevOps and Test Automation software engineer who will work in an agile cross-functional DevOps and Test Automation development team.

·       Build the next gen automation framework for B2B applications that will enable the team release more frequently with higher quality

·       Plan, design, develop and execute automation tests for functional, regression, acceptance, system, performance and penetration testing of our product

·       Enable and guide the test automation strategy.

·       Write, maintain, and improve automation tests for frontend, backend, and APIs

·       Work closely with software devs and solution architects to understand the tech stack, design and accordingly build the test frameworks, setup infra and build execution models to drive the end-to-end quality efforts of backend systems/services and client apps

·       Work with external groups (e.g. Network, Ops, Middleware).

·       Create and maintain all QA related documentation throughout the process

·       Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices and development methodologies.

·       Mentor junior test engineers in effective testing tools and strategies through informal training

·       Have an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

·       Minimum 8 years of IT experience with an B.S/M.S in an engineering/quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics etc.

·       5+ years’ hands-on DevOps and test automation experience.

·       Team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Comfortable working in a loosely structured, fast-paced organization.

·       Must have prior experience in creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non-Functional and automation) and test plans for complex applications and deployment topologies.

·       Experience in developing automation infrastructure, managing QA Processes for Testing and Automation Team.

·       Experienced with Test automation tools such as Selenium, Rest assured.

·       Skilled at CI/CD using automation tools such as Jenkins, TFS, Docker.

·       Skilled at UI and API automation.

·       Experienced at administering a code repo such as GitHub. Experience in administering and supporting the Source Code Management using version controlling tools such as Git on private repositories for the organization in GitHub / Bitbucket

·       Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA.

·       Experienced in Java.

·       Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.

·       Experince with Software Release Management, Build, Packaging, and Deployments.

·       Understanding of Java application platforms and web servers such as WebSphere, Apache Tomcat.

·       Understanding of Windows application platform and web servers such as Microsoft IIS.

·       Experience in working with Windows and Linux servers. Knowledge of basic Unix commands, shell scripting and Windows commands.

·       Strong troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Exposure to container - Docker/Kubernetes and Microservice Architecture.

·       Exposure to monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Opera.

·       Knowledge of SQL

·       Knowledge of JMeter/Load runner tools for performance testing API and UI.

·       Working as part of Agile/Scrum tea
