Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager  to drive key project initiatives in Network Processing PMO. Responsible for delivering small/medium scale projects, providing project support to the Project Management team engaged in delivering significant projects or small programmes across Visa for the Network Processing organisation in Technology.
 

The right candidate will have demonstrated solid leadership in leading and managing development teams and delivering successful outcomes. This candidate is expected partner with key Business and Technical Leaders to define, prioritize and drive project portfolios to successful and impactful delivery. The will help evolve workflow processes and policies to fit the ever-changing needs and capabilities of our growing company.
 

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Deliver small/medium scale projects
  • Support the production of Project Plan updates
  • Support the production and circulation of status and milestone reports
  • Prepare and support project/work stream meetings  including meeting management, minute taking, preparing agendas and circulating inputs/outputs.
  • Support RAID management through updating logs
  • Maintain and manage the Programme/Project Mailbox, Teams, Sharepoint
  • As a global organisation, there may be need to take attend calls/meetings after/before office hours during the week and flexibility is essential.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

• 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD degree

Preferred Qualification:

• Certifications (at least one Preferred): PMP, CSM , Prince 2 Foundation or Agile
• Highly experienced in developing, operating and tailoring Waterfall and Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Develop metrics and reports using Rally/Jira to help the team understand its health and progress and to set goals
• Experience of supporting small to medium complex IT projects/programmes with multiple stakeholders with different and often conflicting needs
• Technical acumen to capture, communicate and drive issues/blockers/risks to resolution
• Key management skills:
o Strong Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written skills
o Meeting facilitation
o Team leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution
o MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio
o Manage teams in a matrixed geographically disperse environment
• Strong Coordination to interface with other technology and business teams to ensure projects adhere to Security, Sourcing, Networking, Intellectual Property and other Visa processes.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technology subject matter experts in product ideation to help refine requirements/scope and create a viable program/project including accurate and inclusive estimates, integrated plans, and securing funding approvals.
