Job Description

The Seller Solutions team is responsible for enabling the sellers’ ecosystem with new and innovative solutions that address their needs as well as grow acceptance of Visa cards. This role will be responsible for several solutions that serve the merchants, acquirers and the wider acquiring ecosystem, e.g. new acceptance solutions (Visa Acceptance Cloud), Dispute Management products, Urban Mobility solutions, and potentially other solutions. The Product Manager will be the CEMEA SME for the abovementioned solutions driving the delivery of these products, supporting the country teams, and working with the global teams on product enhancements. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be the program manager for the commercialization of these solutions in CEMEA. This position would be ideal for a candidate with a product management and program management background in the payment space within the acquiring ecosystem. This role is part of the hub team covering the CEMEA region and will report to the head of Seller Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the solutions in scope (Visa Acceptance Cloud, Verifi Dispute Management, Urban Mobility Solutions, and potentially other seller solutions) and provide product support to internal stakeholders and to clients/partners
  • Understand and educate the subregions on solutions in their entirety including but not limited to: overall architecture, integration options, connections with other systems and services, features and capabilities, implementation nuances, pricing, risks, rules, etc.
  • Develop product strategy including product enhancements, expansion plans to new markets, and enablement of new use cases
  • Take active part in the development, planning and execution of global and regional strategic initiatives, pursuing long-term goals
  • Ensure product readiness for commercialization, including sales collaterals, marketing material, risk approvals, pricing, legal contract, implementation support, etc.
  • Drive solutions rollout and program manage commercialization efforts across CEMEA  
  • Support country teams with client pitches and product related queries
  • Be responsible for annual operating plans, KPI setting, maintaining pipeline, tracking progress and reporting to senior management
  • Work with cross-functional and subregional teams to develop and implement commercialization plans
  • Work with the global team on product enhancements and new features as well as shaping up the global product roadmap based on learnings and needs for CEMEA markets  
  • Work with subregional teams to pilot new product capabilities and features, and plan scaling of these features across CEMEA
  • Perform regular progress tracking and reporting on health status of programs
  • Analyze product performance, identify gaps, and recommend and implement optimization actions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology related field
  • 6+ years of experience in digital product development, product management and product commercialization
  • Solid knowledge of payments and good understanding of acquiring side
  • Good business acumen
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and articulate fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to multi-task and lead different workstreams/ products in parallel, with project management experience
  • Exceptional project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple activities with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization working closely with global teams, market teams and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders and comfortable in leading client discussions and presentations
  • Good PowerPoint and Excel skills to support preparation of sales decks and Excel models (e.g. business cases, product performance analysis)
  • Good command of English is a must
  • Ability to travel as required
