Job Description

We are looking for interns on a number of teams in our Highlands Ranch, CO office. Some of the teams you could work on are:

  • Information Security: providing enterprise-wide, risk-based security and continuity capability, identify and protect sensitive information, detect and respond to cyber threats, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Operations & Infrastructure: building, operating, and maintaining secure and reliable data centers, systems and networks to support the business functionality that Visa provides to payment industry stakeholders.
  • Issuer Processing: delivering value-added services, developing and managing end-to-end technology salutation that provide managed services to help issuer clients grow their business
  • North America Sales: developing and maintaining client relationships by driving payment sales volume, revenue growth, and enhanced profitability across all regions

Job duties and past projects have included:

  • Collaborating with developers to successfully implement software while applying the latest available tools and technology
  • Working closely with clients to understand their business needs and how best to support them
  • Analyzing, designing, coding and unit testing software solutions and enhancements for an application that applies business logic and routes digital currency of global transactions
  • Applying code and operation break fixes and other proactive maintenance activities to keep services running efficiently while managing the performance and tuning of several Visa applications

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or Master’s students graduating in December 2017 or later (unless enrolled to immediately pursue an additional degree)
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Proficiency in or understanding of networking concepts and protocols, Windows server administration concepts, hardware and software virtualization, VB scripting, databases, automation tools and software development a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Highly driven and resourceful
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
