Job Description

The Executive Director is a senior leadership role in our clients structure . The Executive Director is responsible for managing, to include, facilities, operations, delivery of professional services for client care, program development and implementation, staffing and staff development, budget and financial forecasting, and representing our client to the public.

 

•Responsible for delivery of professional counseling and quality substance abuse treatment programs.

•Develops and presents for approval, annual budget for Program, and provides executive management with periodic financial forecasts as required.

•Participates in selection process for all professional positions and reviews, performance appraisals, and/or reviews or recommends merit and promotional salary increases for staff.

•Directs planning, management, administrative, staff and client meetings and training activities.

•Promotes services and oversees the referral development activities with community professionals, interventionists, clinicians, therapists, educational consultants, and families.

•Oversees the ongoing maintenance of facilities including expansion, upgrades, repair, and purchase of new equipment.

•Ensures Program activities operate according to the policies and procedures, applicable professional standards, facility and program licensure as required, laws, rules and regulations.

•Consults with clinical staff on treatment plans as required and may participate in emergency situations and crisis intervention.

 

Qualifications

 


MINIMUM of five (5) years’ experience in a similar leadership role in the substance abuse treatment arena required.

The ideal candidate will have operational experience in a for-profit setting.

MUST demonstrate an understanding of sales and marketing and their value in organizational success. 

Must have Strong Leadership skills. 

Must possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience working in a multi-site corporate environment will be a plus.

Preferably a candidate with one of the following Licenses: LCAS, LCSW, LMFT, LPC.

Bachelor’s degree in a Counseling or Business related field required.

Master’s degree strongly preferred.

MUST HAVE the ability to work independently but within the context of a large corporation with multiple lines of reporting and influence will be essential for success in this role.
