Job Description

Operational Parameters

  • Governing the Finance Data Quality Assurance to provide the quality data for Finance users
  • Monitoring, Performing and developing controls to manage possible data errors and failures
  • Resolving data issues with the support of multiple technical and operational teams
  • Leading the team to focus on key controls and resolve data issues by identifying the priorities for the business
  • Providing monthly, quarterly delivery plans to the client and guiding the team to achieve the delivery targets
  • Participate in daily/weekly calls with stakeholders and provide timely updates
  • Plan and execute quality assurance reviews within provided timelines
  • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Support the reporting manger on resource planning and other team management activities
  • Provide training and guidance to team members in order to fulfill the SLA requirements

Customer Satisfaction

  • Proactively handle service delivery issues, deviations or potential delays in achieving  deadlines by keeping the relevant parties informed
  • Meet client expectations as measured by monthly service delivery reviews [Agree, Strongly agree ratings]
  • Maintain a healthy and effective relationship with the relevant stakeholders, both offshore and onshore

Qualifications

Experience
•Minimum 4 years experience in Data Governance/ General accounting/ Finance department with exposure team management and governance. Involvement with financial control/ process quality control is an added advantage


Qualifications
 • Full/Final level qualified in Database management relevant qualification, CIMA/CMA or similar qualification 

Soft Skills
• Should be self managed and result oriented. Also need to demonstrate people management skills
• Capability to communicate (both verbal and written) with all levels of stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
• Ability to review and write reports to with good comprehension
• Ability to manage different tasks and priorities in a challenging demand driven environment
• Willingness to learn new processes

Technical Skills

• Should be Proficient in Microsoft office package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) 
• Experience in computerized accounting software/ERP solutions such as Oracle/SAP is an added advantage.
