Group Manager is responsible for (but not limited to) strategic sourcing of category/ies of goods and services at various locations of WNS at various geographies. The Strategic Sourcing includes Spend analysis, Conduct the bidding process, effective negotiations and achieving the results in view of customer expectations for respective category. He/She will prepare overall strategy for the respective category to achieve the cost savings and value additions

Brief Job Description:

This position is a part of Captive Procurement function and provides a very good exposure to implement and manage the digital processes / ERP across Source to Pay. The resource is expected to have minimum 7 -8 years of relevant industry experience, comprising the blend of managing the process improvement programs, digitization and ERP implementation experience (Oracle ERP is most preferred) in Sourcing and Procurement area.

This position is based out of Mumbai and will operate in work from office scenario.

Key responsibilities/Key role EXPECTATIONS: 

• Manage the digital initiatives including ERP implementation, plan applicable knowledge management of the users and achieve cross functional synergies.
• Assist various projects (Digital) through effective planning, collaboration, domain understanding and the execution strategy.
• Create plans for UAT and Protypes and execute it by working closely with the Procurement team members.
• Act as a super user to support ERP implementation and related activities including trainings.
• Work on effective documentation for progress update and key meetings.
• Build Synergy and establish effective relationships with the stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.
• Project Management and Program management approach is essential while managing multiple tasks at a time.
• Engaging internally within WNS stakeholders for various inputs and an effective use the market best practices to arrive at best possible scenarios at every stage of the project.
• Build customer satisfaction through effective Performance and stake holder management.
• Develop a good knowledge repository and management approach.

• Excellent stakeholder relationship skills

• Must have worked in a Service /ITES environment.

Education:

• Relevant graduate degree in Business Management or Commerce/ Sciences / Engineering

(MBA / PG in materials management or SCM will be an added advantage.)
