Job Description

**Compliance & Controls:** - Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards. - Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.General Ledger Maintenance:** - Prepare, review, and record journal entries accurately and timely. - Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved. - Maintain detailed documentation for all ledger entries and adjustments.Month-End & Year-End Closing:** - Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities. - Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and in accordance with accounting policies. - Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.**Reconciliation & Audit Support:** - Perform periodic reconciliations of accounts such as cash, receivables, payables, and other balance sheet accounts. - Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits. - Address audit queries related to ledger transactions.**Collaboration & Communication:** - Coordinate with other finance functions, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. - Communicate effectively with auditors, management, and other stakeholders.**Ad hoc Analysis & Reporting:** - Assist in financial analysis and reporting as required. - Support special projects related to financial systems enhancements or process improvements.
