Summary:
We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Retail Analytics to work with our client in UK who heads Loyalty and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with business acumen to build and scale analytics capabilities, strengthen client partnerships, and drive practice growth.
This role requires hands-on proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Azure Databricks, along with leadership experience in supporting the offshore delivery teams, developing frameworks, and supporting account farming in a dynamic retail environment
Job Description
- Provide strong domain knowledge and thought leadership in the retail space, supporting loyalty, customer engagement, and related workstreams
- Independently work with the client stakeholders to understand their business challenges/ needs and define the right analytics approach to design impactful solutions
- Manage day-to-day delivery, work hands-on with data, and guide the offshore team in executing analytics projects involving large datasets.
- Introduce innovative ideas to build solutions in Loyalty, Promotion Effectiveness, Digital Marketing, Campaign Management, Data Insights, and related areas.
- Work extensively with SQL, Databricks, and Power BI to deliver high-quality analytics outputs.
- Provide technical thought leadership, coaching, and mentorship in data science while collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and deliver business and technical presentations, reports, and other documents for client communication and business development.
- Communicate confidently and effectively with client stakeholders, present recommendations clearly, and drive adoption of proposed business actions
- Support account farming in a dynamic retail environment
