- 1011 Western Ave, Suite 900, Seattle, WA
WONGDOODY is the most awarded independent advertising agency on the West Coast. Founded in 1993 with offices in LA and Seattle, we are 100 people providing fully integrated capabilities for traditional, digital and social-media communications.Check us out at www.wongdoody.com
Do you have what it takes to be a Wongtern?
We review Wongtern submissions continuously throughout the year, all applications will be reviewed and considered for the next available term based on the upcoming needs of each office.
We typically offer internships — Wongternships, that is — in a variety of roles in both Seattle and LA. Our intern needs are determined based on workload, and on our ability to provide a dedicated supervisor to spend time mentoring each intern. Intern candidates must be at least juniors in college to be considered. Your cover letter must include the following information:
• Why you are interested in WONGDOODY and the advertising role or roles in which you are most interested in gaining experience.
• Three to five bullet points detailing what you want to achieve during your Wongternship.
• Your availability to work on a full-time basis (what months are you available?)
• Which WONGDOODY office (Seattle or LA) you’re interested in.
Optional: Create a Mangle and submit it with your application. What’s a Mangle, you ask? It’s a 6-second video that pokes fun at all the different ways people have mangled the company’s name. Wangdoodle, Wongdong, Wangdaddy. The list goes on. Go to the Wongdoody.com landing page and click on the “!” in our name to see what we’re talking about.
Paste the video’s URL in the “your message to the hiring manager” box on the application page.
For candidates chosen for an interview, we’ll get back to you to let you know about next steps. From time to time, we will also post specific internship openings in the job listings on our career page, so please check back.
Qualifications will vary by role.
At WONGDOODY we are focused on equity, diversity and inclusion. We believe our employees should reflect the diversity of the populations where we live, including racial and ethnic diversity. People of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
