Job Description

  • Build industry-changing applications for the third party logistics industry
  • Drive product vision and feature definitions
  • Coordinate and lead user requirements gathering sessions
  • Gather feedback from end users on the products and how to improve them
  • Coordinate development and testing with the development and QA teams
  • Design web, desktop and reporting interfaces
  • Develop wireframes, mockups and user stories
  • Learn about new technologies and products
  • Document data mapping between multiple applications
  • Travel to our different offices within the US and Canada to collaborate on features

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience designing web software products
  • 1-5 years of experience designing and optimizing business processes
  • Prior business analyst experience
  • Care deeply about user experience, usability and high quality software applications
  • Understands business process design and optimization such as order to cash
  • Freight brokerage or logistics experience
  • Understand the requirements gathering process
  • Understand how to document business requirements in one or multiple project delivery methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, etc.)
  • Smart, driven and problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills with both application engineers and business users

    Bonus Points

    • Computer science or similar engineering degree
    • Worked in management consulting
    • Experience with a  wire-framing tool such as Omnigraffle or Balsamiq
    • Used to be a programmer
    • Photoshop expertise
    • Worked on projects managed through SCRUM or Agile methodologies.
