Company Description

We're looking for an Inside Sales Account Executive.  Candidates must have an entrepreneurial and hunter-like mentality as they work to find new customers and increase business sales.  This position requires a lot of cold-calling.  Your main goal will be to research, engage and acquire new customers / clients.  Prior inside B2B sales experience is a plus. 

Job Description

  • Must be comfortable prospecting / identifying business leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold-calling
  • Independently generate new sales revenue for your team
  • Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business
  • Succeed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
  • Use both traditional and electronic communication tools to make contact with prospective, current and former customers
  • Translate business opportunities into incremental revenues through strong selling
  • Create quotations and sales proposals for company services
  • Collaborate with your team on pricing decisions, supplier selection and timing
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems
  • Understand and support the goals, policies and procedures of company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, yet experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Proven track record in generating profitable revenue growth and retaining existing customers
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial attitude, competitive and confident personality
  • Ability to develop long term relationships
  • Must have strong problem solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales & service issues
  • Must have strong presentation skills and the ability to handle negotiations
  • Must be adaptable to changing needs of clients
  • Effective follow-up skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
  • Demonstrate an aptitude of selling services in a fast paced and highly competitive market
  • Highly focused and goal oriented    
  • Strong character, desire to succeed and motivated by a pay for performance incentive    
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and internet websites that will assist in data mining and prospecting efforts    
  • Excellent organizational skills – can effectively manage a large territory and be skilled at handling large volumes of customer requests
