Job Description

You will be one of the first three technical employees in a small, fast-growing and extremely detail-oriented team. It’s your chance to be an active part of an angel-backed, game-changing startup that is reinventing the way people learn what’s happening in the world on emerging screens.  You will be joining a small company in the most exciting days of the startup journey.


Your goal is to maintain and develop a Python-based platform that support Watchup's news video apps. 


Responsibilities


  • Help improve Watchup's personalization algorithm with machine learning and NLP techniques
  • Scale for growing client volume

  • Implement major new features based on proprietary and/or patent pending technology or interfaces, including new social features

Requirements

  • 1-5 year experience as a Python developer
  • Available full time and preferably in Menlo Park, CA. // Open to very solid remote workers.
