Job Description

CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Provide Planning and Assessment, Force Development, and Automation / Technology Support

• Planning and Assessment for JIOWC

• Address IO planning, integration, assessment issues, adaptive planning analysis, and research providing advisory and assistance service supporting trans-regional, adaptive, operational, exercise, crisis action, and deliberate planning 

• Participate and contribute to battle rhythm events and other planning efforts

• Provide expertise in using accepted, new, and developmental processes to support IO planning and assessment at strategic, operational, and tactical efforts

• Develop, review, and brief annexes and appendices and other documentation

• Develop and recommend courses of action, risk assessments, analysis and solutions, 

• Conduct research, identify and evaluate potential information sources 

• Develop, evaluate, and incorporate methodologies, concepts, tools, and processes Facilitate analyst or SME conferences, seminars, and meetings to develop products supporting planning, assessment, and process developments

• Provide exercise design support to joint exercises

• Interface and advocate JIOWC issues with representatives of government 

• Force Development 

• Support Force Development and Modernization in operations and training

• Support numerous areas of IO and IRC joint training

• Evaluate and provide input and/or reporting on IO/IRC policy, doctrine, techniques, procedures and methods

• Automation and Technology Support

• Using available IT resources and, as required, research and identify new automation software and services

• Support IT analysis and information research and perform risk assessments 


Qualifications

• Eight (8) years’ experience in IO, deliberate crisis action, and adaptive planning, operational assessment, JOPES, APEX, and JOPP

• Five (5) years’ experience working with national and joint doctrinal issuances, such as the UCP, JSCP, GEF, JP 3-0, JP 5-0, and the JP 3-13 series

• Five (5) years’ experience in at least one AOR and functional mission area 

• Five (5) years of experience working global issues impacting or affecting these areas

• Five (5) years in exercise development, MSEL scripting, injects and synchronization

• Eight (8) years’ experience assessing external/internal tasking validity, advocating courses of action for tasking and securing required actions are complete

• Five (5) years’ experience interfacing with higher level management or organizations

• Five (5) years of experience in soliciting, assembling, organizing data and presenting results Ensure personnel working on-site have “reach-back” to other corporate locations

Top Secret Clearance required with eligibiltiy to SCI

Travel: May require some travel based upon business objectives and goals

Shift: Day Job

Physical Requirements: This position primarily consists of working indoors in an office environment. In the course of the employees duties he/she may travel to customer sites to perform essential job duties.
