This busy 40 room hotel at the shores of the famous Lake Victoria is known for its fine Indian cuisine and the stunning views. The hotel also functions as a meeting place for expats and volunteers that work in the area. The hotel has 4 restaurants and 3 bars. It hosts business facilities, has a swimming pool and a lovely garden. Some rooms have a spectacular view on the magnificent Lake Victoria.  

The Bar & Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for the following:

• You will be overseeing the Restaurant/Bar Operation
• You have to be on the floor during the working hours
• Your primarily responsibility is to Provide a high level of leadership to the restaurant and the employees
• Conduct the Briefing before each shift in order to maintain the Level of Service you expect from the waiters i.e Table Allocation, Introduction to the Menu (special if any), How to Serve the Guest & and above all COMMUNICATION SKILLS between the departments etc.
• Make sure the Surrounding / General Cleanness at the Restaurant / Bar / Swimming Pool Bar are regarding with the hotel standards
• Weekly Stock Take for Restaurant equipment with the Supervisor
• Daily Meetings with the Chef, Kitchen Supervisor and Restaurant Supervisor
• Your interaction with the GUESTS is important for our improvement, it is our motto to give them the best service that they pay for 

• Language: English and preferable other languages
• Experience: Tourism, Gastronomy, leadership skills

Profile:

Somebody that want to work in a different environment with a lot of patience - good communication skills – authority – a lot of energy and willing to make long days.

Terms of employment:

• Domestic Return Flight Ticket Dar - Mwanza - Dar (Tanzania)
• 100% of the Air Fare - 12 Month contract, if contract broken within 6 months no refund, if broken on completion of 6 month 50% will be refunded
• Contract for 6 month’s
• Salary/Remuneration  usd $ 650 per month
• Cash 50,000, allowance per month  
• Work Permit for Tanzania   
• Accommodation at the Hotel full board
• Medical - Hospital in Mwanza City
• 1 month Probation
• Working Hours: 8hrs - 10 hrs daily (with break in between shifts)
• You will be working 6 days/week, and 1 day off. On alternative Shifts as follows

BD OR LD OR BL

Break Fast 6:00hrs - 10:00hrs

Lunch 11:00hrs - 15:00hrs

Dinner 18:00hrs - 11:30hrs (till closing time)
