The Resort is located only 10 kms from the Ndabaka Gate – your entry into Serengeti National Park.

You are responsible for all aspects of running of the Resort, including the staff training and quality control. You ultimately responsible for ensuring that every guest at the Resort has been engaged through service that meets or exceed our set standard.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and philosophy of the resort, displays dignity and respect of others at all times.
• Assist guest with check in and check out processes (verifying registration, address and credit information, etc). Go above and beyond to provide assistance, i.e. assist with housekeeping, coffee, directions, wake up calls, etc
• Conduct Training with the House Keeping & Restaurant on weekly basis and overseeing the Rooms as per the Check List
• Provide information to guest and visitor inquiries; coordinates all guest requests for special arrangement of services, courteously and efficiently informs guests of hotel services, features and room amenities.
• Answer hotel telephones courteously and efficiently following the resorts standards.
• Assist guests with food orders and serves food and beverage items to guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner. Uses suggestive selling techniques, Maintains a clean, organized environment for guests by clearing tables during service
• Follow the resorts operational policies and procedures, including those for cash and credit card handling, safety and security and all other policies, procedures and standards to ensure we can consistently exceed the guests’ expectations.

-          International Airfare Ticket x 1 Via Dar es Salaam and will be provided during this 1 years contract (low season)

-          Salary usd $ 650 per month and Cash Tanzania shs 50,000, allowance per month  

-          1 off day per week

-          Working hours 8-10 hrs (on split shifts)

We are looking for a young professional with experience in hospitality / gastronomy willing to relocate to Tanzania for the minimum of one year. 

As an assistant resort manager you will be rotated between three different resorts when requested.
