TF is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to support the capital infrastructure investments in and around Lake Volta on the fish farm and distribution network. The leading candidate will lead a team of experienced construction engineers and a team of over 60 Ghanaian construction staff. The successful candidate will have a capacity to both handle a multitude of projects and to lead the development of the local team through training and coaching.

• Lead development and planning of all major construction works
• Develop detailed project plans, making use of the latest technology to support the management of the plan while also being hands-on and on the field to oversee implementation and execution
• Lead water-based construction projects both on offshore and onshore locations
• Projects will include building of jetty, large aquaculture ponds and supporting drainage infrastructure, housing and office units, fish cages, floating platforms, utility boats, and much more
• Negotiate with contractors and manage their timeline, quality, and execution milestones

Professional Requirements

• Min 10 years experience leading large-scale projects, construction, and designing solutions
• Experience training and coaching team of support staff and construction workers
• Experience with Microsoft Project Manager (or equivalent professional software) a requirement
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize a large list of items
• Ability to learn AquaManager and be program manager in its implementation, customization and support
• Ability to handle full spectrum of issues, from development of plans, to ownership of timeline and quality of outcome
• Experience abroad, especially challenging developing nations like Ghana, a big plus

• Able and willing to relocate to Ghana and will be based on Lake Volta in company housing (rural site)

• Looking for a strong, organized, technically competent manager to work in the field, but also be able to manage the process in a system (like Microsoft Project).
• Fluent in English

 Term: 2-year contract with option to extend up to 5 years based on performance

• Compensation: $25,000+ gross annual comp, based on experience; Second year comp can reach $30,000 gross annual pending performance (Note: TF can go higher in comp for the right candidate.)
