As a non-profit organisation we guide building projects on schools, clinics, warehouses, drink water facilities, operation rooms, caring centres in countries like Gambia, Ghana and Malawi. In the past 12 years we have realised over 100 projects in collaboration with larger and smaller clients. In everything we do, sustainability is central. 

At our department in Ghana we have space for a Project Manager.

Stichting Bouwen Nederland is looking for: An enthusiastic building engineer with bachelor working and thinking level, that preferably has working experience in a similar role. Are you independent, do you have a sense of responsibility, do you see solutions before you see problems and are you adventurous? Then this could be a great job for you!

This is what you will be doing: As a Project Manager you guide and control all building projects through Ghana. You travel a lot and work with many different parties.

Your working environment: From our base in Winneba (Central Region Ghana) you visit the building projects covering Ghana. You work together with local contractors, suppliers, managers and builders.  

Responsibilities

* Working out drawings of building projects 

* Manage building projects (technical and financial) 

* Making budgets for building projects  

* Pass on building knowledge  

* Managing overall finance and organisation

What are we looking for

* Minimum Bachelor in Building Engineering

* Experienced in Archicad and other standard software

* Good knowledge of English
