Company Description

Our client has been active on the logistics market in West Africa for over 10 years now. With their dedicated sub agents covering all of West Africa, the company now employs over 300 staff.

They mainly operate in the Mining and Offshore and the Oil and Gas sector, but can handle all sort of port calls for the liner or tramp sector, amongst other services like Platform Supply Vessels or Husbandry Service.

For their Sierra Leone office they are looking for Finance Manager.

Job Description

Purpose

• Responsible for all Finance matters related to the companies activiteies in Sierra Leone (bookings, invoicing, payrolling)

• Manage a team of 5 financial staff

• To ensure accurate and timely reports and communication

• Reports to Africa Finance Manager, also located in Sierra Leone

Qualifications

Candidate Experience

• Completed Bachelor or Master training in corporate economics or a related study

• Candidate needs to have 3-5 years experience in Finance and Accounting

• Financial skills in: making a budget, financial rapports and cash flows

• Good coaching skills

• Preferred experience working abroad

• Must: Good understanding of the English language written and spoken

• Experience in Logistics environment is a plus

Package

• Salary : A local salary of max Usd 1000 and the tax of this is paid by the company. The overseas salary is based on the candidates experience.
