Our client is a multinational integrated media company and a global player in media industry. In Ghana, the company operates across the following key platforms; e-commerce platform, e-publishing (online sports and popular entertainment magazines) as well as a digital marketing agency for brands.


To support their rapid growth we are looking for Digital Executive to manage their Ghanaian operations. Reporting into the Head of West Africa, this position will lead a team of circa 50 employees. This would suit a strategic leader that can develop and structure processes to grow the business and also a strong people leader that is able to build and motivate a cohesive and stable team as the business grows.

Job Description

The Ideal Person:

You offer strong leadership skills and a demonstrated success record in a general management position or commercial lead role. This is a highly operational role, and would suit someone that operates well is a “startup” style environment. We are ideally sourcing a local or an expat already in Ghana that is seasoned to living and doing business in the country.


You are a hands-on, result-oriented, proactive person, who makes solid decisions based on key figures.

Qualifications

Skills & Knowledge:

• Experience: 5 years’ experience building and managing teams, full P&L responsibility 

• Knowledge: Digital marketing expertise (digital strategy, digital media or online sales) 

• Industry: Internet / Digital   

• Languages: English – fluent written and verbal      

• Education: MBA from a top university is highly sought after 

• Market: Working knowledge of Ghana / West Africa will be a distinct advantage however emerging market experience outside of Africa in the internet sector will also be a consideration.
