The company tries to achieve the following for up and coming social entrepreneurs and enterprises…a platform to begin realising their full potential and to assist start the wave of social enterprises tackling social challenges in the Kilimanjaro Region.

This will be achieved by providing budding entrepreneurs with the knowledge, mentorship and resources needed to tackle the most daunting issues facing their communities with a sustainable business venture. The Moshi Hub will be the first of its kind in Kilimanjaro. It will be a space where many social organizations and individuals in Moshi are able to work together all under one roof to collaborate and innovate. There are other successful hubs in neighbouring Kigali, Nairobi and Kampala that have had a proven positive impact on the surrounding environment. The Moshi Network will be a network map of organizations, institutions and people to connect and skill share to further facilitate learning and collaborations. It will be a living network that finds ways to continuously exchange experiences; that brokers more complex partnerships; and increases our shared knowledge and impact in our respective fields of work. 

Job Description

The Moshi Hub and Network Manager will be responsible for managing partnerships and relationships with members of the Moshi Hub as well as design, deliver and develop the Moshi Network. He/She is expected to work along side the companies Office Manager to support the day-to-day management of the property. We are currently looking for an exceptional staff member who is able to lead on the start-up of this co-working & community hub, as well as manage it on a more long-term basis. We are looking for a creative and innovative individual who will be able to fully lead on the creation and expansion of The Moshi Hub. 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

• Promoting and marketing the Moshi Hub and Network to a variety of different audiences through a range of mediums.

• Attract potential new network partners and encourage the continued growth of the network, including its connections to Tanzanian local and regional government agencies and offices.

• Build deep connections with member organisations to fully understand their work and team, to better facilitate connection making 

• Designing the framework for the Moshi Network including delivering and developing activities and newsletters to build the Moshi Network community.  

• Assisting with the co-ordination of other office events such as meetings, staff events, launch event, networking etc. 

• Managing the Moshi Hub budget and ensure all transactions are transparent. 

• Managing tenant contracts, and tenant logistics.

• Managing the whole office site and the tenants alongside the Anza Office Manager, ensuring the smooth running of the property and the satisfaction of all tenants.

• Supervising all maintenance and security staff, including liaising with all service providers, maintenance contractors and utility providers. 

• Reporting any problems and suggestions as they occur to the Anza Office Manager and follow up accordingly including liaising with the Landlord and repairmen to ensure property is well maintained.


Qualifications

1. Highly organised, outgoing and resourceful.

2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

3. Strong problem-solving skills, creative and proactive.

4. A strong understanding of Anza’s and other partner member’s mission and values.

5. Demonstrated experience in property management. 

6. Demonstrated experience in staff management and able to lead a team of people. 

7. Advanced communication and social media skills.

8. Must have the right to live and work in Tanzania. 

9. Strong interpersonal sills.

What we offer: 

You are welcome to live in our staff house together with some of your great collegues. The job will have a stipend of approx 600,000 tzs per month.
