The company has recently launched a new consulting portfolio which will offer services across a range of areas of expertise. 

Job Description

The Managing Director role requires a passionate, resourceful and dedicated individual to lead a team of international volunteers and associate consultants in providing support and consultancy to social enterprises in Tanzania. The Lead Consultant will be expected to direct and support the team in all 19 services offered.

The Managing Director will provide guidance and direction to a team of consulting volunteers and fellows providing ongoing support and service to a diverse clientele of social enterprises. 

Candidates with 2-3 years professional experience in consulting management or with a business management background will be given preference. 

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of consulting fellows and liaise with associate consultants  

• Planning of consulting projects, setting key milestones and objectives, tasks include: preliminary research, defining and structuring scoping of consulting engagements, determination of deliverables and presentation of solution to the client  

• Managing new and ongoing client relationships 

• Attracting new clientele 

• Provide short and long term strategic planning to the company, including a long term sustainability model 

• Develop and refine consulting IP offered by the company through research and practical client work 

Qualifications

Skills & Experience 

• 2-3 years of experience consulting in a leading role or similar level position 

• Experience with industry analysis, business plan development, financial modelling, operations, organisational development, marketing and strategy and stakeholder management will be advantageous

• Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders

What we offer: 

You are welcome to live in our staff house together with some of your great collegues. The job will have a stipend of approx 600,000 tzs per month.
