Cobb Africa are looking for a dynamic, energetic individual to join our Technical Team in the role of Breeder Technical Manager. The responsible person will be required to travel extensively across Sub Saharan Africa to provide technical support to our Breeding Stock clients as well as internal support to Parent Company (Irvine’s Group) operations in Zimbabwe and Botswana.

- Support and training of clients technical team to ensure best possible performance of the Cobb Breed:
- Ability to communicate to people at all skill levels
- Continuous communication and co-operation with clients to ensure improvements of technical results.
- Collection and compilation of client data to be used to analysis client as well as product performance
- Assist new projects/clients with planning and set up:
- Maintain and update an established set of client SOP’s
- Identify and share useful technical information with clients
- Managing clients product quality and performance concerns/complaints:
- Manage client complaint procedure and ensure all relevant data is collected
- Liaise with suppliers/hatchery to find root cause of the issue
- Decide with General Manager on appropriate corrective action
Qualifications
Skills required:
- Experience in Broiler Breeder Management
- Hands on practical management essential
- Ability to transfer to knowledge to clients of all technical levels
- Hatchery experience will be beneficial
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Planning and co-ordination of travel schedule and client service delivery
Personal Traits required:
- Willingness to travel
- Proficient in both written and verbal English skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
