Enza Zaden is a worldwide leading breeding company of vegetable varieties. The head office of our still independent company is situated in Enkhuizen. Our breeding programmes include tomato, cucumber, sweet pepper, leafy vegetables. We belong among the international top in supplying the ultimate source for vegetables. 

What are you going to do?

As Technical Manager you make sure all machines and technical installations are well kept and operational. Herefore you will do necessary maintenance and repairs. You will also assist with the construction of buildings and implementation of installations. Additionally you keep the workshop and all tools and equipment in good condition. To fulfill your tasks you work with a team of about 6 persons who are under your direct supervision. Next to this you will have a team of drivers and technical employees under your responsibility. You report to the General Manager.

Your power

You are a Technician with a vocational education and experience in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment. Welding experience and/or knowledge of electrical installations is a big plus. Furthermore you have a good understanding of Microsoft Office. You take initiative and you plan and prioritise your work efficiently. You are able to transfer your knowledge and skills to your colleagues and are flexible in dealing with cultural differences. Additionally you have a driving license and are willing to live in Tanzania for at least two years.
