Job Description

Atu mo te mahi | About the role 

Lead and deliver strategic Employee Experience business partnering to define and implement people strategies and to provide high quality advice for our leaders. Lead a small team of Business Partners to meet our purpose to deliver better health outcomes for our employees and service users.  

Your team will achieve these results through becoming trusted advisors, building in-depth understanding of customers and business drivers through excellent stakeholder relationships, providing advice on management of complex people issues and workforce planning. 

You’ll relish working with the wider Employee Experience (Ex) Leadership to ensure the provision of timely, consistent coaching, advice, compliance and support on all aspects of People Capability and current legal requirements to our people leaders. Enabling them to build a culture that is aligned with Whakarongorau Aotearoa’s values.   

Your team will be an integral part of business operations, leading organisational change and ensuring we have a consistent approach when it comes to aligning people and business strategies to design and deliver relevant and practical People solutions and equip our leaders for success.

Qualifications

Pehea koe | About you 

Your demonstrated leadership experience, significant knowledge of current Ex practises, and your senior business partnering skills in a complex organisation, will be the key to your success. You’ll be confident operating as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to Executive leaders while developing your team to deliver the same.  

Use your strong technical knowledge, across all aspects of Ex management to effectively coach and mentor others to enhance overall capability in our HR practice ensuring good employer principles and practices and expected high standards of integrity, ethics, and behaviour. 

To achieve this, you will also naturally have the following attributes:
