Job Description

WhitePages is looking for an Account Manager to work on our Business Development team.  This is a small team of high caliber people that are passionate about the work they do, work hard to get things done, but then celebrate their efforts with a night out at karaoke, attending a musical, or just doing a team dinner (with significant others). You don’t have to carry a tune to fit in, but you will need to be able to deal with ambiguity and play well with others. There is not a lot of structure and things can change day to day! 

 

Qualifications

The position requires someone that is excited to work with partners for creative optimization.  You will be collaborating with customers on split tests for their ads.  See something that is not performing well?  Let’s identify it and make it better for the customer.  We test different copy… or different color… or different images.  We take the data, analyze it and then make a report of our findings.  The type of industry you come out of doesn’t really matter.  You just need to pay meticulous attention to the details and have a proven track record in learning new systems and tools.  You will be working with clients on a regular basis so good customer service skills and a background in account management are essential.   You will have the keen ability to prioritize your work load, a strong sense of urgency and know when to push back!  You should also be trustworthy – able to build rapport with clients and build trust within the team.  Proficient with Excel and some knowledge of HTML and JavaScript would be helpful.
