Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manager of Capital and Utilities responsible for managing, analyzing, and tracking a variety of technical systems that support energy management, and assisting with tracking and planning departmental capital expenditures and project management. The position requires advanced data skills, strong technical aptitude, a broad knowledge of construction and maintenance methods, and the ability to work independently in a highly specialized environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced Excel/Adobe skills to maintain detailed and accurate records.
  • Assist with tracking, organizing, and managing annual capital expenditures projects.
  • Establish and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts.
  • Trending of electrical metering and building management systems.
  • Work autonomously in a position where few others can assist.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros, formulas, filtering, and complex workbook creation.
  • Experience in mechanical systems, project planning, and project management desired.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC fundamentals, and heat transfer.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and plumbing construction drawings. Strong mathematical skills, especially in data analysis and financial calculations.
  • Excellent typing accuracy and high-volume data entry capability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of technical data with high accuracy.
  • Capable of independently resolving unique issues with minimal guidance.
