ABOUT YOU

We seek an authoritative, strategic, and solution-oriented Chief Security Officer to join a growing software team focused on rapidly building a new cloud-based enterprise security and risk management product. We need someone who has expertise overseeing and executing upon organization-wide security product efforts.  The selected candidate will be responsible for the research, development, implementation, and fine-tuning of our security strategy, vision, programs, products, and initiatives. 

Do you have the resume of champions?

• Experience creating, implementing, developing, and managing global security policy, guidelines, standards, and processes typically obtained in 10+ years.
• Experience leading complex technical projects from conception through deployment and maintenance, typically obtained in 10+ years.
• Experience leading the security aspects of software development teams typically obtained in 10+ years.
• Strong R&D background developing disruptive technologies.
• Mastery of security and information technology practices and principles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Superior communication skills; ability to translate complex security topics to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Excellent project management, supervisory, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. 
• Strong working knowledge of pertinent regulations, compliance, regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrated track record of success in performing the responsibilities outlined in the following section.

   Huge Plus

• Significant experience leading a teams building next generation apps using adaptive machine learning techniques and has experience with high-performance/big-data environments.

Do you want to do this on a daily basis?

• Evaluate, enhance, implement, and manage ZeroFOX’s cyber and physical security posture: initiatives, policy, guidelines, standards, and processes.

• Direct architecture and roadmap decisions as they pertain to cyber security.
• Research, identify and inject customer security needs into our product suite.
• Serve as an instrumental member / leader in developing our core product suite.
• Develop and facilitate corporate security awareness and educational initiatives. 
• Establish, develop, implement, and maintain the overall security strategy for a cyber security product with regard to architecture and engineering standards.
• Lead complex technical projects from conception through deployment and maintenance.
• Safeguard and protect the company’s information assets.

• Work cross-functionally with Leadership to oversee and coordinate security efforts that align with technical, regulatory, corporate, legal objectives. 
• Evaluate and assess current and prospective enterprise security standards and technology.
