We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and driven individual to join our Engineering team to focus on the successful development, deployment and delivery of Zest Health platforms and applications. The QA & Automation Software Engineer will be expected to build and execute on test plans, own test frameworks and work in tandem with other engineering team members to resolve issues and optimize the customer experience across platforms. The successful candidate will have a background in test automation, QA and ideally, software engineering, and be incredibly detail-oriented, focusing on delivering the best products possible.

Responsibilities will include:

• Further emphasizing a test-driven and quality-focused engineering culture
• Planning and executing tests across the full suite of Zest Health platforms and applications
• Detecting, reporting, troubleshooting and resolving issues found during automated, manual and regression testing
• Participating in sprint planning, demos and retrospective sessions
• Ensuring successful data migrations, imports and integrity verification

• BA/BS in Computer Science or relevant experience
• Background and experience with MVC and object oriented programming
• 2-5 years experience in software testing & test automation role(s)
• Knowledge and background in proven QA approaches, test framework ownership and testing techniques
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging start-up environment
• Self-motivated and thrives on learning and experimenting with new technologies
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to share best practices with others
• Passion for new technology, healthcare and entrepreneurship
