Zest Health, a venture-backed mHealth startup located in downtown Chicago, is reinventing the way consumers experience healthcare and how employers pay for it. By focusing on preventative care and disease management, Zest is able to improve member well-being which ultimately makes for happier and healthier employees. Our business model is built around a cloud-based platform and accompanying mobile applications for iOS and Android that offer members access to information and help when they need it.

With our platform and mobile apps live, we’re looking to continue our increasingly rapid growth. We are seeking a Marketing Intern who can contribute to this growth by crafting marking strategies, applying content, social and growth techniques in a fun, passionate start-up downtown.

Job Description

We’re looking for a part-time intern to take the lead in creating marketing content. Specific responsibilities include: crafting marketing strategies to engage our users, writing and maintaining a fun blog, and drafting creative emails to send out to customers. Since we’re a start-up, you can largely define your own role to make an impact.

The position would require 10-20 hours/week with flexible hours and location. It is unpaid. But...there is an opportunity for future paid summer and/or full-time employment.

Qualifications

- You enjoy writing and reading blogs
- You are interested in joining an early-stage start-up
- You watch Silicon Valley ironically
- You think the current health care system is awful
- You enjoy the challenge and creativity in marketing
- You like taking the initiative and dislike being micromanaged
