Zest Health, a venture-backed mHealth start-up located in downtown Chicago, is reinventing the way consumers experience healthcare and how employers pay for it. We are currently in search of an Associate Vice President of Sales who can target strategic employer, broker and TPA prospects, develop a pipeline in targeted markets and regularly on-board new customers. The successful candidate will implement effective sales plans, conduct presentations and product demonstrations, and provide customer insight to our technology and operations teams.

To support our growth trajectory, we’re looking for a sharp sales person who can jump aboard and drive success right out of the gate. For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to quickly advance into sales leadership and make an impact within one of the fastest growing health tech start-ups in Chicago. As an AVP of Sales at Zest Health, you will:

  • Generate leads to build, grow and manage a regional pipeline – heavy prospecting via warm/cold contacts
  • Conduct product demos and presentations both via the web and in-person
  • Increase revenues by executing effective selling strategies
  • Form relationships, regularly close deals, and engage existing partners
  • Take the lead on new opportunities across various channels
  • Work closely with your team to meet and exceed sales goals

Qualifications

  • 2-8 years of direct work experience in an outside sales capacity
  • 2+ years of direct work within the employee benefits or supporting industries REQUIRED
  • Current network of contacts within above spaces a plus
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales quotas and building meaningful customer relationships
  • Tenacity, positivity, and accountability
  • Polished communication and client interaction skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare benefits preferred
  • Startup experience a plus
