Our business model is built around a cloud-based platform and accompanying mobile applications for iOS and Android that offer members access to information and help when they need it.

The Director, Marketing is responsible for development, implementation and tracking of Zest Health’s marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities. This role will oversee branding and messaging related to marketing (traditional / printed copy, digital), social media campaigns, press, industry events, product launches and sales enablement. The Director, Marketing will ensure consistent, effective storytelling across all channels to increase Zest Health’s brand awareness and thought leadership in relevant markets. As a key contributor to the exponential growth of Zest Health, the Director, Marketing reports directly to the President.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shape Zest’s brand awareness and position through thoughtful, consistent storytelling and tone across multiple outlets (sales channels, speaking engagements, trade shows, social media, etc.).
  • Develop, coordinate and oversee programs and resource materials to help Sales with positioning of Zest in relevant channels (brokers, TPA’s, health systems, etc.).
  • Work with the Smart Concierge to develop a pipeline of powerful member success stories and marketing materials to build awareness, engagement of existing customer base; distribute these stories through appropriate channels (social, email, web)
  • Own improvements to the Zest Health website related to content and branding; focus on capturing benefit manager success stories and positive experiences implementing Zest  
  • Coordinate media interest in Zest and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
  • Develop content and oversee submissions for speaking engagements, trade shows and events.
  • Track metrics to measure progress and ensure achievement of business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a budget related to marketing and PR needs (third party resources, software/tools, team member support).

Qualifications


EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related discipline. Graduate degree a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing and communications in progressive leadership roles. 
  • Minimum 2 years in healthcare or employee benefits related markets. Startup experience highly desired.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns (portfolio will be requested).
  • Outstanding writing, editing and overall communications skills; ability to distill complex topics into compelling communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resources, budgets, schedules and business priorities in a complex environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members across multiple functions; ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong desire to change the world of consumer healthcare through technology
