We're seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and curious individual to join our team to focus on business and product requirements across our suite of mobile & web applications, platform, API and internal tools. The Business Analyst will be expected to support product, design and engineering team members by focusing on the definition, evaluation and refinement of business and product requirements.
In this role, the Business Analyst will also work closely with QA and Automation team members to ensure business, product and workflow requirements are successfully tested and that all acceptance criteria have been met prior to a deployment / release.
Job Description
• Define, evaluate and refine business requirements, related KPIs and analytics across the organization in tandem with product team and leadership
• Develop user stories and participate in sprint grooming/planning sessions with product, design and engineering team members
• Compose acceptance criteria together with QA and Automation team members, ensuring all member, customer and/or user scenarios and flows have been captured and tested
• Ensure business, product and workflow requirements are reflected in wireframes, prototypes and visual designs
• Maintain a technical understanding of infrastructure, web / mobile applications, platform, API and internal tools in order to organize deployments / releases and successfully ship new products, components and services.
Qualifications
• 2 - 5 years of business and/or product analysis experience
• Self-directed, passionate, curious and analytical mindset with a desire to ship quality software and quickly iterate & refine
• Experience gathering and documenting complex user and business workflows in tandem with and on behalf of internal stakeholders and customers
• High level understanding of technical architecture, cloud-based web software, platform / APIs and mobile applications
• Previous experience developing and shipping software preferred
• Prior experience mapping various workflows (e.g. Visio, Omnigraffle) and developing product wireframes (e.g. Balsamiq)
• Exposure to agile and/or startup environments highly preferred
• Passion, interest and/or prior experience in consumer or mobile healthcare desired
