Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Technician to join our team and provide technical support to engineers related to the improvement of existing production lines and the design of new composite manufacturing equipment and processes, resulting in improved productivity, quality and/or reduced production costs.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the construction and implementation of pultrusion equipment modifications
• Drive the completion and updating of PFMEA’s for the pultrusion processes
• Specify and coordinate purchases of equipment for manufacturing pultruded profiles
• Develop, optimize, and document pultrusion process
• Coordinate tooling modifications, new tooling, and machine setup for different
pultruded profiles
• Support development work for new products
• Develop, train, and implement operator instructions for all production processes

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree required,  Bachelor’s Degree in technical field desired
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, providing technical service and assistance to production processes
  • Knowledge of machining, tooling and how to design and build processing equipment
  • Technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude required
  • PFMEA experience desired
  • Composite materials or related industry experience a plus
  • Computer Skills:  Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Internet
