Ancestry is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager to join our in-house media team. Ancestry is on a mission to create an iconic brand, and this role will be key in helping make this mission come to life. We are building a team of experienced, passionate, and creative marketing experts to position Ancestry as the leader in personal genomics and family history.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a data-driven, analytical, and highly pragmatic media professional with experience managing high performance digital media campaigns to drive sales growth, acquire new customers, and create an engaged subscriber base.

You will support all aspects of digital media planning, buying, optimization, measurement, & day-to-day program management for Display, Paid Social, and Content Marketing channels. You should be a digital media expert capable of driving innovation and growth in the space while educating and evangelizing throughout the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Manage digital campaigns from concept to execution including campaign setup, tracking, tagging, reporting and optimization

  • Leverage your hands-on experience with ad platforms like Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Taboola, Outbrain and DSPs to execute optimizations and test into new opportunities

  • Manage campaign line items to drive business goals while pushing into new strategies and technologies

  • Partner closely with CRM, Brand Media, and Creative teams to build synergies across the organization

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with online publishers and partners

  • Partner with Analytics to interpret performance data and apply to digital strategies, channel performance and campaign optimizations

  • Prepare, maintain weekly performance reporting and provide insightful commentary

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience building and deploying digital end-to-end digital media campaigns

  • Proactive and solution-oriented with excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task

  • Creative thinker with strong analytical skills -- comfortable interpreting data, deriving actionable media insights (ROI) and using them to inform future campaigns

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • High proficiency and advanced experience in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc)

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated with “can-do” attitude

  • Significant experience with MarTech/AdTech platforms
