Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated, growth focused digital marketer to join our growing Performance Marketing team. This role will have a meaningful impact on Ancestry’s growth strategy, supporting all aspects of performance media planning, buying, and optimization for Display, Paid Social, Programmatic, and other performance media channels. What You Will Do

  • Manage execution of performance media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, programmatic, and other paid media channels

  • Continually test, iterate, and optimize campaigns to maximize performance via pricing adjustments, A/B creative testing, landing page testing, etc.

  • Continuously evaluate and test new tactics for acquiring new users, such as data analysis, partner management, campaign targeting, bidding, creative, and more

  • Track and report on campaign performance and share insights with other marketing teams and executive leadership

  • Identify and recommend improvements to partner strategy, campaign setup and optimization

  • Work cross-functionally (internally and externally) to design, implement, and enhance paid marketing strategy and execution

  • Partner closely with CRM, Brand Media, and Creative teams to build synergies across the organization

  • Partner with internal and external creative resources to define creative needs and optimize creative execution


  • 4+ years digital marketing experience planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns

  • Knowledge of display media channels, paid social, programmatic buying, audience targeting, AdTech/MarTech platforms

  • Ability to think outside the box using critical thinking and creative problem solving

  • Proactive and solution-oriented with excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task

  • Creative thinker with strong analytical skills -- comfortable interpreting data, deriving actionable media insights (ROI) and using them to inform future campaigns

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Strong understanding of fundamental business concepts, marketing metrics, analytics and tracking best practices
