The Knowledge Writer will be part technical writer, part scientific jargon translator, and part customer support advocate. You will be responsible for creating and editing content on all of Ancestry's international properties including web and mobile.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Member Services, and other internal teams to write new customer-facing knowledge content
- Work with the localization team to translate content into seven languages across eleven websites
- Create content for our customer support page as new features are released
- Collaborate with Country Managers to identify and address the specific content needs of foreign markets
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Communication, English, or related field with an emphasis in writing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a technical writer, copywriter
- Basic experience coding in HTML/CSS
