One of BlaBlaCar’s core ambitions is to build the largest people-powered transportation network in the world. The Monetize tribe at BlaBlaCar aims at monetizing our various markets, by delivering a best in class payment and booking experience to our users.

You will join a dedicated agile cross-skills tribe, operating as a mini-startup within BlaBlaCar. The tribe is comprised of rockstar profiles with a strong entrepreneurial mindset: engineers, product manager and data scientist.

You will also belong to the larger Product Team and be responsible for the experience and the evolution of the user interfaces of our site and mobile apps. You will work with our product managers and our tech team to create a unified and intuitive experience for our users.

What you will directly contribute to

• Designing intuitive and elegant UX solutions to the problems raised at each new product iteration
• Creating new interfaces for the web and mobile, from the wireframe all the way to the final design
• Providing engineers with precise designs as well as any new interface elements ready for integration, and collaborating with them if necessary during integration
• Improving the site’s interfaces and striving to enhance the look and cohesiveness of the entire experience
• Preparing and performing usability tests with users to gather direct feedback

What you will need to be successful

• 3+ years of experience in UX design for major sites with a strong community and/or an important e-commerce aspect
• Genuine interest for solving complex UX problems
• Ability to recognize a good UX and to explain where it excels or fails
• Sincere willingness to fairly balance our business and members' needs
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Proficiency in Sketch and Invision (Framer, Pixate and/or Principles appreciated)
• Sound understanding of implementation constraints
• Strong knowledge of mobile sites and/or apps
• Fluency in French and/or English
