Our main product is a mobile app that curates events going on in your city and lets you choose an event and pay for a ticket in two taps.  Users love our app designed for spontaneous individuals who are on the go and looking for things to do tonight.  It is installed on one in five smartphones in London.

In 2013 we added New York,  where it is getting more and more popular, and have recently launched in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Edinburgh. More cities are coming!

The back-end team is responsible for the API that the apps talk to, the internal CMS, the various websites, the event partner site, and programming support for the data science team, so basically everything code that isn't a smartphone app.

You will get to work on a variety of problems and technologies, help shape the future direction of our tech, and have plenty of room for taking on more responsibility over time.

You will work from our new spacious office in Manhattan.

We are looking for a strong full-stack Python developer with the focus on back-end.

Must have:

• At least two years of experience building commercial Python applications
• BS in Comp. Science or equivalent; strong CS foundations a must
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
