Job Description

Strategy professionals help clients develop corporate strategies, make strategic M & A decisions, structure effective business and operating models, and transform their businesses with the goal of growing the business while maintaining or reducing costs.

Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances professionals develop inorganic growth strategies through mergers and acquisitions, partnering and alliances, so as to enter new markets and channels, as well as to consolidate and leverage scale in existing markets. They also provide pre-deal due diligence for both corporate and private equity clients as well as divestiture and initial public offering support.

Travel Monday – Thursday/ Friday is required

Qualifications

Must-haves:

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree
  • At least 5 years of consulting experience; ideally, with a top-tier consulting firm
  • At least 2 years of experience with Merger & Acquisition life cycle
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to travel to clients sites Monday – Thursday/ Friday

Pluses:

  • 2 years of industry-specific experience within one of the following industries: Energy, Natural Resources, Utilities, Chemicals, Life Sciences, Electronics / High Tech, Retail, Consumer Products, Financial Services, or Manufacturing.
  • Significant experience identifying and closing sales opportunities
  • M&A planning and implementation experience, with at least two Fortune 500 mergers
  • Knowledge capital development experience
  • Proven track record in client relationship development
