Job Description

Insurance Strategy Managers lead engagements for global Insurance clients. Ideal candidates have consulting-relevant experience including: conducting structured quantitative and qualitative analysis, developing operational and growth strategy, program definition and management, and consultative, collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Client Delivery and Development

  • Develop trust-based relationships with senior clients
  • Lead strategy and transformation engagements
  • Support the development of compelling responses to new business opportunities
  • Build and manage teams
  • Assess and manage risks

Practice Building

  • Develop expertise in specific practice specialty areas to increase the breadth and depth of our knowledge base and capabilities
  • Elevate our brand and presence in the marketplace (e.g. thought leadership, offering development, recruiting)
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to analysts and consultants

Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in one or more of the following domains within the Insurance industry (Property & Casualty or Life):
  • Enterprise Strategy
  • Product & Underwriting
  • Distribution
  • Marketing
  • Claims
  • Customer centricity
  • Program and project management
  • Minimum 4 years of consulting experience in the Financial Services industry, ideally with a top-tier consulting firm
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to travel to clients’ sites Monday-Friday
