Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess and solve complex business problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Establish near-term goals while following the strategic direction set by senior management
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Manage large – medium sized teams and/or work efforts

A Products Strategic Cost Management Manager will either be part of a large workstream owning pieces of the work, or will lead workstreams focused on both labor and non-labor costs reduction.

Qualifications

Must-haves:

  • 3 years of Consulting experience within a management consulting environment, with a focus on:
  • Overhead Optimization
  • Zero Based Budgeting
  • Shared Services/ Global Business Services/Integrated Business services
  • Enterprise Cost Reduction, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing
  • 2 years of experience leading project teams or large workstreams within complex, large-scale projects.
  • Experience with large scale project planning
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 75% (Monday – Thursday/ Friday based on client or project demands

Pluses:

  • Experience with Operating Model transformation
  • Functional depth in either Supply Chain/Operations or Finance
  • Products (CG&S, Retail, Life Sciences, Automotive or Industrial Equipment manufacturing) industry experience
  • MBA
