Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced sales engineer to assist our sales team with technology support in both on- and off-site engagements. You will work with the latest video technology to support our top-tier engagements with the industry’s leading players. Bridging the gap between sales and engineering, you’ll gain valuable technical know-how across a variety of media ecosystem applications and use-cases, and lead the technical aspects of client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide presales technical support to prospective and existing customers
  • Assist sales and marketing teams during technical qualification process, product evaluations, presales engagements, and deal closure.
  • Assist prospective and existing customers engineering teams in designing, executing, analyzing, and interpreting results of product evaluations and trials.
  • Work with marketing and engineering teams to clarify customer and marketing/sales technical requirements.

Qualifications

Must-haves: 
  • 2+ years of experience with video processing 
  • Experience testing and evaluating video processing software products
  • Understanding of video compression theory
  • Understanding of video processing challenges
  • 2+ years of sales engineering experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel to clients’ sites, trade shows, etc., up to 20%

Pluses:

  • Software development experience 
  • 5+ years of experience with video processing
