Our precision medicine SaaS platform depends on a rock-solid cloud deployment.  Our pure cloud platform is hosted at AWS and represents the state of the art in hosting medical data and applications in the cloud.  We are looking for a brilliant experienced hands-on manager to lead and grow our DevOps team.

Key Responsibilities

* Be responsible for all aspects of our cloud architecture.   
* Be an expert on and an advocate for data center best practices and design patterns.   
* Lead our cloud automation efforts.   
* In partnership with Chief Security Officer, design and implement various security facilities and controls, both by configuring AWS services and integrating with third parties.   
* Lead and grow our team of highly experienced DevOps engineers.   
* Represent our cloud platform in meetings with executives, customers, and partners.

   * At least three years of experience leading cloud operations.
   * Experience managing highly skilled senior DevOps engineers is a must.
   * Strong scripting skills in Python (preferred), or other scripting languages (PHP, Perl, etc.) are must have.
   * Expert understanding of Internet and Web protocols.
   * Extensive hands-on expertise with AWS
   * Experience with Puppet, Chef, Ansible or Salt (preferred)
   * Expertise with cloud security
   * HIPAA experience is a big plus.
   * Understanding of web application performance tuning (all layers).
   * Understanding of high availability architectures.
   * Truly superb oral and written communication skills
