As part of our Analytics practice, you’ll deliver analytically-informed, issue-based solutions that help clients make faster, smarter decisions. You’ll play a critical role in helping them tackle complex business issues.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver large-scale programs that integrate processes with technology to help clients achieve high performance.
  
• Design, implement, and deploy custom applications on Hadoop.
  
• Design, implement and deploy ETL to load data into Hadoop.
  
• Implement complete Big Data solutions, including data acquisition, storage, transformation, and analysis.

Must-haves:

• At l least 1 year of  experience building and deploying Java applications in a production environment
  
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with two or more of Hadoop components, such as HDFS, Hbase, Pig, Hive, Spark, Sqoop, Flume, etc
  
• At least 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Python, Pig programming, Hadoop Streaming, HiveQL
  
• At least 1 year implementing relational data models
  
• Good knowledge of traditional ETL tools & RDBMS
  
• Bachelor’s Degree  in Computer Science or a related discipline
  
• Ability to travel to clients’ sites Monday – Thursday/ Friday

Pluses:

• Experience with full life cycle development
  
• Experience developing REST web services
  
• Experience working in one of the following industries: financial
  services, resources, healthcare, government, products, communications, high tech
  
• Experience leading teams
  
• Experience with Data Science and Analytics (machine learning, analytical models, MAHOUT, etc.)
  
• Experience with Data Visualization

• Candidates can live anywhere in the United States, as long as they are within a drivable distance from a major airport
