Job Description

This wealth management and financial planning organisation have been in business for over a decade and are seeking an IFA Administrator to join them. The organisation is an established company with an enviable client base and tens of millions of pounds in client funds under management.

The main duties include:

  • Processing new business - obtaining initial quotations, checking and sending off application forms, monitoring and chasing all outstanding items, and issuing policy documentation on completion
  • Preparing client valuations - gathering details of client holdings and updating database accordingly
  • Building and maintaining relationships through close communication (both verbal and written) with internal consultants, insurance companies/providers and clients
  • Creating and maintaining client files and records

This is an excellent opportunity for people look to start or build upon their career in the financial services sector in a Financial Administration/Planning role. There is also the potential for the organisation to provide opportunities to undertake a Certificate in Financial Administration/Certificate in Financial Planning on top of comprehensive industry experience/knowledge – SIPPs, GPPs, PFW etc.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of C grades in English and Mathematics at GCSE
  • Be computer literate, competent with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Degree in any discipline
  • Any previous experience working for an IFA or insurance company is highly beneficial
