Job Description

Healthcare Data Coordinator

The Healthcare Data Coordinator works on the CoverMyMeds Forms Team. This team is responsible for ensuring we have all the right PA forms loaded and that doctors and pharmacists can find the form they need quickly.


  • Researching health and drug plan formularies and prior authorization (PA) processes
    • Finding new forms and analyzing their use on CoverMyMeds
    • Establishing priorities for loading forms in our system
    • Contacting health plans directly
  • Auditing and quality assurance
    • Database maintenance to ensure correct plan configurations
    • Ensuring the accuracy of both new and existing PA forms
    • Auditing forms for content and usability
    • Correcting online coding (xml) of forms
  • Researching and configuring health plan billing information
    • Collaborating with our Support Team to resolve form-search problems
    • Helping end-users find the form they need


About You:

  • Bright, analytic
  • Great attention to detail
  • Outstanding problem-solver
  • Eager to learn (We will train the right person!)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Experience working with pharmacies or health plans a great plus, but not required
  • Certification or technical training in a health-related field a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and internet research
  • Strong writing skills
