Secondary Activities – providing market valuation and execution 

Located in New York, London and San Francisco, our firm is led by seasoned private equity professionals who have previously worked at leading global advisory, secondary and investment banking firms, including: Bain & Co., Blackstone, Citigroup, Cogent Partners, Greenhill & Co., Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. These professionals have advised and completed capital-raising mandates totaling over $100 billion, as well as advised on secondary market transactions representing over $75 billion of interests.

Job Description

THIS IS AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION FOR A RECENT GRAD WITH HIGH GPA AND TOP TIER SCHOOLS.  PREFER CANDIDATES THAT HAVE COMPLETED AN ANALYST PROGRAM.


Firm seeks candidates at the Analyst level to work with senior members of the Firm to assist us in growing our business. 


Typical responsibilities may include: 

• Engagement Execution and Operations – Execution is required in the preparing a broad range of client presentations, assisting with due diligence reviews, collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and statistics, developing industry, client and investor research and other similar activities. Analysts are expected to build, edit, and refine financial models and related analysis. 

• Firm Development – as a young, high growth firm, Analysts may be asked to support MDs and Directors in developing our platform, including maintaining general partner, limited partner and industry data flow in our (CRM) data base platform.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates have completed a two-year Analyst program within the private equity, real assets, hedge fund, or other alternative asset classes, typically either within an institutional investment firm, within a general partner, at a top investment bank, at an investment advisor, for one of the top management consulting firms, or a combination these. Exceptional candidates with other demonstrated experience/interest in the alternative asset will be considered if such a program has not been completed. 

• Education and Intellect – We seek the brightest individuals with a keen sense of intellectual curiosity regarding the dynamics of the alternative asset industry. A consistent track record of the highest academic achievement is expected, with a bachelors degree from a top university with honors and/or at the top of the class. Challenging degrees in finance, business, investment management, accounting, the sciences and other similar areas may also be indicators of academic achievement. Alternative asset experience is not necessarily required in this case but a strong affinity for private equity, hedge, or real assets must be demonstrated through coursework/internships.

• Analytical Capabilities – The firm excels with the more challenging engagements in the private equity space, and our staff is expected to be able to perform robust financial and analytical skill set, including modeling skills. We understand that the level/type of analysis expected may not be formally found in coursework, and we thus train our staff where required such that they become experts in private equity and real asset analytical techniques.
