Job Description

Company is seeking a Digital Media Coordinator in New York City. This is an opportunity for a motivated, action-oriented candidate who wants to learn and grow quickly, as well as impact both agency and client decisions and company growth.


There are two potential growth tracks for the hired candidate - one track is focused on analytics and measurement while the other is focused on campaigns, and is client-centric.


Digital Media Planner - Analytics Focused:


This role supports commerce initiatives from an analytics and measurement perspective for all of our clients. Reporting to the Digital Media Supervisor, this individual will be a key contributor to the success of our fast-growing eCommerce businesses. This individual will focus on online site testing and behavioral targeting set-up, maintenance, and reporting.


Additionally, this individual will provide analysis on performance marketing channels including Paid Search, SEO, Feed Programs, and Re-marketing. Using our reporting resources, this individual will deliver recommendations on our performance marketing channels as well as creative and user experience. This position will help to drive improvement in conversion rate in FY15 as a result of their focus on behavioral targeting.


Analytics Focused Responsibilities:


• Directs assistant media planner in research required for planning process


• Engages and works with Analytics team for any tagging/reporting requirements


• Reviews RFPs and filters/negotiates for most suitable proposals


• Ensures accuracy and quality of all campaign documentation including insertion orders, trafficking sheets and terms


• Collaborate with Ad Ops and Reporting teams to ensure thorough understanding of Digital Media Plan


• Stewards media buys in market to assure continuity and campaign delivery


• Proposes optimization recommendations, in partnership with Analytics if necessary


Digital Media Planner - Campaign Focused:


This role supports the Media Supervisor and is a day-to-day focal point to the account and is tasked with being involved in all key accounts the agency handles. You will be integral in development and management of effective digital media plans including Search, Social and Display. All members of the team work in conjunction with each other and budget allocations are determined in-house. We have won numerous accolades for many of our new product launches.


Campaign Focused Responsibilities:


• Active role in developing digital media strategies for client


• Accountable for major client deliverables


• Manage multiple media projects, develop project estimates, set budgets for media vehicles, devise schedules, present campaign plans as necessary to client team and/or client


• Present analysis to client team and/or client as necessary


• Analyze outcome of campaign through results reporting and written analysis


• On point to liaise between client, project management, and analytics/trafficking teams



General Responsibilities:


• Reviews media brief and sets planning process in motion


• Develop and produce written strategic plans, campaign and media recommendations to meet goals and objectives set forth by media, client services and/or the client


• Filters research findings and converts to actionable media insights

Qualifications

MUST HAVES:


• 1+ years experience in Digital Media Planning


OR


• 2-3 years experience as a Junior Media Planner


• 1-2 years experience using ComScore


• Proficient in all MS Office applications. Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills (subject to testing)


• Experience planning and buying display media (Analytics track)


• Experience analyzing data


• Experience reviewing RFP's


• Bachelor’s degree


PREFERRED:


• Experience planning, conducting, analyzing, and presenting data from both qualitative and quantitative primary research studies


• Experience working within a media department


• Experience managing day to day digital media strategy


‘A Plus’


• A degree in digital marketing, analytics, or a data mining program


• Social monitoring tools knowledge
